This is a timeline that is constructed around the Metal Gear Saga. It includes dates of historic events of the characters as well as the storyline. There are also dates that show the birth of voice actors and staff, as well as game release dates. To contribute to this timeline, please submit information in it's thread. October 23: Greg Eagles (Gray Fox - MGS1 and Donald Anderson - MGS1) is born in Los Angeles California, USA.

June 6(D-Day): The Boss gives birth to Ocelot in Normandy.

Date unknown: The bombing of Hiroshima and Nagosaki the conclusion to the Manhattan Project which involved Otacons grandfather.

Date Unknown: The Boss abandons Naked Snake on a mission with no explanation.

In September: ADAM and EVA defected to the soviet union.

Date Unknown: The Boss becomes the first person in space.

January 1: Peter Lurie (Vulcan Raven - MGS1) is born.

October 14: The Cuban missile crisis begins.

November 20: The Cuban missile crisis ends with Kruschev agreeing to remove his missiles from Cuban in return for handing over Nikolai Stephanovich Sokolov.

Date unknown: The Boss is forced to kill her former lover The Sorrow in combat on her mission in Tselinoyarsk.

August 24: Hideo Kojima is born in Setagaya, Tokyo, Japan.

August 23: Virtuous Mission begins.

August 30: Operation Snake Eater begins.

October 10: Quinton Flynn (Raiden - MGS2, MGS3) is born in Cleveland, Ohio, USA.

October 25: Kevin Michael Richardson (Scott Dolph - MGS2) was born in Bronx, New York, New York, USA

April 28: Steven Jay Blum (Gene - MGS Ops) is born in Santa Monica, California, USA.

May 1: Charlie Schlatter (Major Raikov - MGS3) was born in Englewood, New Jersey, USA.

July 18: Lori Alan (The Boss - MGS3) is born in Potomac, Maryland, USA.

Date Unknown: Big Boss meets child soldier Null(Gray Fox) and takes him as a child, and later sends him to a rehab center.

January 24: Phill LaMarr is born (Vamp - MGS2, MGS4)

Date unknown: EVA disappears without a trace in Hanoi.

February 6: David Hayter (Solid Snake - MGS1, MGS2, MGS4, Naked Snake - MGS3 - MGS Ops) is born in Santa Monica, California, USA.

August 15: Kim Mai Guest (Mei Ling - MGS1) was born in Los Angeles, California, USA

Date Unknown: After Naked Snake(Big Boss) founds FOXHOUND after the FOX unit revolt, Ocelot and "the man with the same name as Null" (most likely Zero) along with Big Boss form The Patriots.

Date unknown: Big Boss establishes Foxhound.

January 30: Jennifer Hale (Naomi Hunter - MGS1, MGS4, Emma Emmerich - MGS2) is born in Canada.

February 12: Tara Strong (Ursula - MGS Ops) is born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Date unknown: The "Les Enfants Terrible" project. The Sons of Big Boss are born.

1974
November 28: James C. Mathis III (Sigint - MGS3) is born in Brooklyn, New York, USA.

1979
February 8: Josh Keaton (Young Ocelot - MGS3) is born in Pasadena, California, USA.

1980
Date Unknown: Hideo Kojima began to purse a career in film making, but then, after seeing the NES, decided to make video games

1986
April 26: The Nuclear Power plant in Chernobyl melts down. The Romanenko family is exposed to a large amount of radiation.

1988
June: Metal Gear for the NES is released in North America.

Date Unknown: During the Winter Olympics in Calgary, Gray Fox (under the alias Frank Hunter) became romantically involved with Nastasha Marcova and had secretly eloped but Nastasha was denied immigration rights into the USA. Gray Fox then developed resentment towards his superiors.

1992
Date Unknown: Hideo Kojima produced his first game, titled Snatcher CD-ROMantic.

1995
Date unknown: Solid Snake joins the FOX-HOUND Unit.

Date Unknown: The Outer Heaven crisis occurs, ending with Solid Snake defeating Big Boss and destroying Metal Gear TX-55.

1998
September 30: Metal Gear Solid is released in North America.

1999
Date Unknown: The Zanzibar incident. Snake infiltrates the remote location of Zanzibar and kills Big Boss and destroys Metal Gear D.

2000
Date Unknown: The body of Gray Fox is discovered in the ruins of Zanzibar. FOXHOUND scientist Dr. Clarke takes the body as part of the gene-therapy project and makes him into the Cyborg Ninja.

2001
January 20: George Sears is appointed as the 43rd American President.

November 14: Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty is released in North America.

2003
Date Unknown: Dr. Clarke is killed by Gray Fox after Naomi Hunter helps him escape from Containment.

2004
March 9: Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes for the Gamecube is released in North America.

November 17: Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater
is released in North America.

2005
Date Unknown: Sons of Big Boss take over Shadow Mosses facility.

Date Unknown: George Sears steps down as president, but in reality the Patriots removed him for being involved in Shadow Moses.

2006
Date unknown: Nastasha Romanenko and Otacon founded Philanthropy. A organization dedicated to stopping the construction of Metal Gears. They Recruit Snake for their cause.

December 6: Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops is released

2007
March 22: Snake makes his way onto a Marine tanker to find evidence about a new Metal Gear Model.

2008
Date Unknown: James Johnson "wins" an election to become the president of the United States.

October: Dead Cell loses "Chinaman" and "Old Boy" in a surprise attack.

2009
April 29: Raiden's mission on the Big Shell begins.

April 30: The Manhattan Incident, Raiden eliminates Solidus Snake.
