About Me: I was introduced into the amazing world of MGS with MGS2: Sons of Liberty back in late 2002, when I simply just rented it, and then I was hooked with its amazing gripping storyline and fun gameplay. I bought it very soon after and completed it time and time again. MGS2 still remains my favourite because it was the first game that I got so wrapped up in its story and characters.

Then with the announcement of MGS3: Snake Eater, I was just psyched and was anticipating its release for about a year and a half. MGS3 was a fantastic experience and offered a brilliant storyline and such deep characters. Now, with MGS4 coming to the PS3, I truly believe it'll be the best next-gen game ever made.

Working on the Metal Gear portal alongside Krunal and Vito is awesome, and I've enjoyed it very much. I can't wait to start reporting on MGS4!

About Me: I started playing games from the Metal Gear Solid series a few years ago. The first one I played was Metal Gear Solid, on the PS1. I was obsessed. I literally couldn't stop playing it. It was a problem though, because I was only around eight years old, and my mom didn't like me playing it. My favorite game of the series would have to be MGS3: Snake Eater. It was very challenging, and had a very deep story line.

What I really like about this series is the originality. It isn't your ordinary third person shooter. It is arguably one of the best video game series ever created, and that is why I love it.

About Me: Introduced to the Metal Gear Series (with MGS2: Substance) on my 14th birthday, I quickly got hooked onto the gameplay and storyline. Soon, I discovered ways in which I could defeat all the bosses without loosing life, and decided to make my very first FAQ (linked below). I eventually completed the game, unlocking everything on my way, but by this time I had been hooked to the series. I borrowed MGS1 from a friend, however was unable to complete it before I had to return it.

After replaying MGS2 many times, over many years, I decided to wait a while before I got MGS3: Snake Eater, incase they released an expansion, and to my delight they soon announced Subsistence. I also got my chance to work alongside Echo and Vito Ralffe on the Metal Gear Portal which has thanks to the readers and the other staff, been successful.

I now wait for MGS3: Subsistence to be released along with MGS4...

About Me: "To begin with -- i'm not what you'd call -- human. Over the past two hundred years -- A kind of consciousness formed layer by layer in the crucible of the White House. It's not unlike the way life started in the oceans four billion years ago. The White House was my primordial soup, a base of evolution -- I am formless. I am the very discipline and morality that Americans invoke so often. How can anyone hope to eliminate me? As long as this nation exists, so will I." - Edited quote from the Colonel in MGS2.

About Me: I first caught on to the Metal Gear craze when the first Metal Gear Solid was released for the Playstation. I was in elementary school (high school graduate just to give you an idea of how long ago), and I had received a demo from the Playstation Underground service. I played the demo over and over, until I could get through it without being seen at all. I quickly realized that this was no ordinary game, and little did I know that it would change the way I viewed videogames forever. Never had I played a game with such an emotionally-driven storyline with cinematics that felt like I was playing a blockbuster action movie. I have been faithful to the series ever since, and even purchased Metal Gear for the original NES to get as much as the story as possible. I continue to love the series and I continue to play the games. I have beaten Metal Gear Solid well over a dozen times now (no exaggeration), and Metal Gear Solid 3 kept reeling me back in also, so I decided to write a few FAQ's for it (something I told myself I would never do). With more games on the way, I doubt this will be a series I can let go of any time soon.
