The trio are back again and this time, to talk about more details regarding Metal Gear Online. Ryan hints on how MGO users will play as Snake and the MK.II, and collect dog tags from other MGO users. Another big topic which is talked about is Konami’s MGS4 Bootcamp in Japan. Several Journalists from around the world were picked to test the whole game of MGS4, for 3 days straight. Talk about Outer Haven! As always, they sum up the show with answering some very interesting questions from the general public.

With this session of the Kojima Productions report they talk about the skill system in MGO, and how the moustache on snake has caused so much controversy for MGS4. Making the mood a bit lighter, Mark and Christine erge Ryan to grow a moustache. They also get a little side tracked and talk about Monster Hunter 2 and its release around the world on the PlayStation Portable system. With their time running short, they wrap up the session with answering various questions about the Metal Gear franchise from the general public.

Now Metal Gear Solid fans have the final chance to fully immerse themselves in the Metal Gear Solid universe before the release of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. The Metal Gear Solid: Essential Collection includes the original MGS for the PS1, the director's cut of MGS2 and MGS3 with a commemorative package of artwork by Yoji Shinkawa. Planned for the PlayStation 2, no announcement on it's release date has been confirmed but will sell for a retail price of $29.99.

  Dec 27 2007 - Gray Fox joins Snake in Super Smash Bros. Brawl
  
Yes, it's true. The world famous ninja from MGS1 will be assisting Snake in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. However... he won't be playable. He is a part of the new Assist Trophies system. These are items that you collect in game and then use to call upon these characters. So when you're playing as Snake, and you obtain this item, you can release your Assist Trophy. And then Gray Fox will suddenly appear to aid you in battle.

  Aug 01 2007 - Portable Ops Plus for PSP
  
Kojima is already making a new Metal Gear Solid game on the PSP. It will be titled Portable Ops Plus. It will be an expansion of the original game which will mainly focus on online play. New features include new characters, missions, and a brand-new story mode called "Infinity Mission." The game is set to release in Japan on September 20th, but probably won't reach North American and Europe until 2008. You can watch a trailer for the game here.
