The following is a list of all the items you can obtain in Metal Gear 2, along with their descriptions.
[edit] B1/B2/B3 Ration
Regenerates Snake's health.
[edit] Binoculars
Useful to see one screen up, down, left, or right of your present location.
[edit] Blue Card
Can open any IDCARD door 4-6.
[edit] Body Armor
Cuts damage taken by bullets in half.
[edit] Brooch
Natasha's Brooch, has the mark of the Zanzibar Land.
[edit] Cardboard Box
Hide in the Cardboard Box from guards or use to transport you to different places.
[edit] Cartridge
A cartridge containing the Oilix data on it.
[edit] Cigarettes
Are used to detect laser traps.
[edit] Egg
A standard Egg found in the Zanzibar Bio Lab.
[edit] Gas Mask
Doubles your O2 gauge and causes it to decrease slower. Useful to protect against any type of gas.
[edit] Green Card
Can open any IDCARD door 7-9.
[edit] Hang-Glider
Can be used to fly from high places.
[edit] IDCARD
Cards 1-9 are used to open a door with the corresponding card number that you have.
[edit] Metal Bucket
A standard Metal Bucket found in the bathroom.
[edit] Mine Detector
Will display the location of mines on the screen.
[edit] Night Viewer
Used to see in dark places.
[edit] Owl
Hatched from an egg found in the Zanzibar Bio Lab. Likes to eat snakes. Hoots when it is evening.
[edit] Oxygen Tank
Same as the Gas Mask but used underwater.
[edit] Pills
Can cure illness such as flu.
[edit] Red Card
Can open any IDCARD door 1-3.
[edit] Snake
Hatched from an egg found in the Zanzibar Bio Lab. Likes to eat Rations.
[edit] Spray
Highly flammable spray.
