Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes is a remake of the original Metal Gear Solid on Playstation, for the Nintendo GameCube. The remake includes updated graphics, and new, improved voice acting, as well as gameplay features similar to those in Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty. For example, now Solid Snake can shoot in the First Person View, whereas before it was only used as a different viewpoint so details can be noticed more easily. Also, the AI was improved so guards moved more realistically and behaved differently.

Not everything was changed though, the story remained the same as did the graphics used in the Codec conversations, for the nostalgic value. The Metal Gear Solid page includes more information on this game's plot line. Also, most of the content from the pages' below is the same as it is in Metal Gear Solid.
